About The Event

In 2009, Loudoun County led the Northern Virginia region in reported Lyme disease cases.  According to the CDC, the United States has 38,000 new cases of Lyme each year.  However, the disease is difficult to diagnose and the actual figure may be 10 times as great.

The Annual FinishLyme 5K and 1K Fun Run will drive awareness and raise money to help find a cure for Lyme disease –  the number one tick-borne illness in the United States.  The FinishLyme 5K and 1K Fun Run will also feature an information fair to educate the public about Lyme disease, its causes, symptoms, and treatments.

When: Sunday, May 15, 2022
Where: Fairfax Corner, 4100 Monument Corner Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030

Start Times:

DryHome Roofing & Siding, Inc. of Sterling, Virginia is a 30-year old company owned by Steve Gotschi. Steve truly believes in giving back to the community and every year, DryHome donates a new roof to a needy individual or non-profit organization. To Our Loyal FinishLyme Runners, Sponsors, Vendors, and Supporters...

NatCapLyme and DryHome Roofing and Siding have been diligently following the latest news concerning the global spread of the coronavirus. We have made the decision to reschedule the FinishLyme 5K/1K Run for

Sunday, May 15, 2022

This was a difficult decision as we were planning a number of celebratory activities to mark the run’s 10th anniversary, which has grown to be the largest run in the country dedicated to raising funds for tick-borne research, education, and prevention.

We hope you will support this worthy cause and come out on May 15, 2022
and participate in the Finish Lyme 5K/1k Run/Walk with all of us.

Stay safe, calm, and continue to wash your hands!
